Hi everyone

Can anyone tell me if by installing the Replacment MCE plug-in in MP0.2.2.0 I can get rid of the problem where after a couple of days when changing channels the software starts to put a zero infront of all the channel numebers i have set up with my blaster.

For example my BBC1 is on 101 but when the error occours I get 0101 which obviously doesn't change the channel.

Thanks for any help.

Regards

Yogiman!

    Hey there,

Should be fine with the MCE Replacement Plugin. It uses an integer to retrieve the channel number and then formats it into a string with the number of leading zero's you specify in the plugin setup. Of course, you can specify not to include leading zero's as well.

I'm just about to update the test version, so grab a copy of that from the Test version thread in this sub-forum and give it a go. And let us know how you get on.

    Cheers,

This is a common problem, and I probably need to put some automation into the process of fixing it...

If you're using the original driver then you need to remove the replacement driver button mappings. This is mentioned in the documentation. Click on "MCE Button Mappings" in the plugin configuration and then click "Remove Replacement Driver Mappings".

You also need to make sure you've disabled MediaPortal's built in MCE Remote support.

I'm gunna go automate the replacement mapping removal ...

    Cheers,
