I've seen this before and it is very likely that Subscene limits downloads somehow (could be per day or anything). I'm still away next two months so I can't investigate the issue more.

hey guys,
there is a problem buggin me:
I download a lot of subs with this tool (http://code.google.com/p/auto-sub/). So I will only have to download subs manually in case there is none found automatecly. prob is that subcentral won´t get the info that there is already a matching sub in the folder and will show me "no subs". is there anything i can do to configure subcentral so it will update the "has subtitle"-status?

I have the same problem. Download a lot of subs from addicted manually and subcentral never identifies that there is already a sub file present. Otherwise a great plugin!

I don't think this is a problem of subcentral. Subcentral only downloads subs. For the marking "sub" MP-TVseries and MovingPicture are responsible.

I have no clue what I have changed, but recently when I start an episode it goes to subcentral for a subtitle and I choose the correct subtitle.
which is great, that is expected behaviour.

however, when I return to the episode I have to choose the correct subtitle.
It used to pick the - just chosen - subtitle automatically.

what setting is this?

What you mean you have to choose the correct subtitle? During the playback? If this is what you mean, this is controlled by Mediaportal settings in MP Configuration -> Videos -> Subtitles.

SubCentral only searches/downloads subtitle files and it is up to user/MP Settings which subtitles are actually used during the playback.
