Switched to "Use EVR for TV" and this time MP appeared to hang after pressing the stop button when watching full screen TV, i.e. it froze and didn't make it back to the TV menu. Brought up task manager and copied the logs as attached, before forcing MP closed. Interestingly, the...
Thanks for the suggestion @joecrow, I will give the "Use EVR for TV" option a go. I've been using madVR for watching TV for many years without any issues, but there area lot of variables at play here, all of which have changed at some point, i.e. madVR software version and settings, GeForce...
Hi @CyberSimian, it would have been either of these two options:
Watch channel (no pause), press 'OK' on the MCE remote which brings up the 'mini' guide on top of the video stream, up/down to select the new channel, and press 'OK' again to switch to that channel.
Watch channel (no pause), press...
Every so often, when I switch to a TV channel, my MP client stops accepting user inputs, either from the remote or keyboard/mouse. The channel keeps playing fine and when I bring up task manager MP is not reported as 'not responding', i.e. from an operating system perspective the program is not...
Nice find @Jasmeet_181, I'll bookmark that site! Unfortunately, that does mean we're back to the drawing board in terms of trying to figure out what might have changed.
Hi @CyberSimian, like you, I'm also able to receive "That's TV3" on Freeview channel 71, with "H264" video and "LATM AAC" audio, as reported in the TsWriter.log file . When I try Classic FM however, the audio stream is identified as "MPEG2 - audio", and I agree with you that this is now likely...
Hi @CyberSimian, you might be on the right track in terms of a change made by Arqiva, see this article towards the bottom:
I completed the contact form on that website and asked whether they have any more information regarding these encoder improvements. I'll let you know if/when I hear back...
Hi @CyberSimian, I have just tested this, and it's the same for me. I'm on the Durris transmitter (NE Scotland) with Classic FM on the COM5 mux 514MHz and Smooth Radio on the COM6 mux 546MHz. TV channels on those muxes work fine, and so do the BBC radio channels on the PSB1 mux 530MHz.
I was more meaning in general. I haven't been able to skip through recordings for example (with the Kodi client), so I'd be interested to know if you have the same issue. As a workaround, I play recordings through Kodi's Videos menu (MP TV recordings folder mapped as a source), but that's not...
Sorry, my misunderstanding, I hadn't actually tried my Kodi client since installing 1.37. If you don't mind, I will send you a private message at some point to see how you are getting on with the Kodi MP client?
So, I initially had TVServerKodi v1.25.0.130 installed and this worked fine. Similarly, no issues after I installed v1.25.0.141. I did install your "debug" dll, so see log file attached for reference purposes when @Noise672 posts his logs. FYI, I have a dedicated x86 MP TV Server install (no...
