Fixed, I think.
Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't...
This is the odd thing: I haven't uninstalled anything which was't part of my previous MP2 install so I would have expected that any drivers required would be re-installed when I re-installed MP2.
However, having completely uninstalled and re-installed again, I can confirm that the MP2 installer...
Hi all,
I've recently retired my MP2 setup for my main HTPC and gone back to separates, but I wanted to retain the ability to play my media on my bedroom setup, which used to be client #2.
After finding that I could not upgrade from a client only install, I decided to completely remove MP2 and...
Hi.
I was probably being a bit fast and loose with my terminology. I meant "somewhere within the files that MP2 uses in its database".
Anyway, I found a way to do this which was far from automated but relatively low effort. I found what looked like all the images (CD covers, DVD covers...
I am in the process of setting up a legacy media player (Mede8er) which I happened to have laying around into my home cinema setup, primarily to give me a non-PC way of playing my collection of ripped DVDs and CDs. All my DVDs are curated in the Movies section of MP2 and have cover art ,etc. CDs...
Sorry. I should have been more clear. I don't know how to launch MP Config at all. Is this somehow launched from within MP or is it a stand alone app like TV Configuration?
How do I open this dialogue? I don't seem to have a shortcut to it.
It's not actually "how I wanted to setup my equipment". I am perfectly happy to stay with Default WaveOut Device, but this post was more to understand the differences between using that and specifically selecting DENON AVR as...
Hi. I recently upgraded my home cinema AVR which also meant changed from sending audio from my HTPC as 5.1 using optical to 7.1 using HDMI. The AVR (DENON) is available in the list of audio renderers so naturally I selected that but it caused a side effect:
When I listen to music using MP, I...
Today my PVR disk died, taking with it a load of old recorded TV programmes. I swapped in a spare drive but I see that MP2 still thinks the old recordings exist. I expected the metadata for the recordings to be in same folder as the PVR but apparently not.
How do I make MP2 forget about these...
Thanks for that. I found "Chnlineup" in the Sky grab and "FreesatEPG" in the Freesat grab and enabled them both in EPG Collector, and also set them as the EPG grabber for radio in MP2.
But here's the odd thing: The next time I opened the XMLTV EPG mapper (where you map actual channels to...
Channel movement detection was enabled. The main reason I needed to do this was to re-tune the BBC channels which all changed in the UK a few weeks ago. I watched the entire process during the scan and the status window in TV server literally reported finding no new channels and no channels to...
I haven't looked at the file. Will do so later. As per my other post, yes I did update the transponder list.
EDIT I just checked it, and there doesnt seem to be any mention of any of the radio channels in the WML file so I guess that's the issue. So it looks like there's now no EPG data...
I'm on TVE3, and yes I did update the transponder list from that post beforehand.
The problem doesn't seem to be that the new channels were not being downloaded, but rather that as long as the "old channel" was called (for example) BBC2, and the "new channel" was called BBC2, it wasn't updated...
Following on from this thread:
Previously I used EPG Collector very successfully to grab a 7 day OTA EPG which included the EPG for radio channels.
For some reason, since my rescan, although I can still get a solid EPG for all my TV channels, I cannot get an EPG for any radio channels at all...
