What if you just set three simultaneous recordings? Does it happen then? Do the end times for the three recordings all need to be the same? Does only the final recording on each channel carry on, or does it happen with the others? What is your pre/post record time (and does this work okay)...
Do you mean you set a single recording in each case to cover the time period, or you set separate recordings in the EPG for each individual program?
Perhaps you can set the same schedules for tomorrow, then zip and upload your TV database. Maybe we will find that the schedule is set incorrectly?
Well, if you are able to schedule a series recording for something that is on every day at a certain time, and then cause the problem by adding more schedules close in time, that would be useful.
How many tuners do you have?
Can you reproduce this more or less every time? If so, it might be worth trying to add some logging to MP to give more information about what is going on.
It would be good to know if we are checking whether it is time to stop recording and the check fails, or whether we do not check at all.
Please bear in mind that MP is coded by volunteers. Anyone reading this who would like to dig into the code and work it out is welcome to do so and to submit a patch.
Best guess - there is a < that should be a <=
Hi,
Whenever you set a series recording and then cancel an episode, an entry is created in the 'canceledschedule' table in the database.
This allows MP to check and not record this one.
The problem is, these are NEVER removed.
With the fix...
True, and I would normally be against this. However, I think it is a useful one.
Agreed.
I'll sort a Jira later. Since this is not a bugfix, I will schedule it for 1.9.100
