I have three places with an MP install and IMDB+ working. Suddenly, one of them stopped working, but now all three do not scrape at all anymore. Any changes that you are aware of?
This works! When manually inserting the scraper it works like a dream and very fast too. Also using Custom. Thanks!
I suspect some error in the automatic updating through Manager. This works, so I think you have done enough!
Deleted IMDb+ as datasource from Moving Pictures and also complete uninstall via Manager, then installed all new to version 2.1.0.539. No Custom, but also no IMDb+ scraping at all.
Updated through Extensions Manager to version 2.1.0.539. IMDb+ is not used at all. I have used an instance of Mediaportal where this is the only update, so no manual changes in Moving Pictures Configuration > Importer Settings > Data Sources > Movie Details Data Sources. Just the update via Manager.
It is not that I wanted to start a semantic discussion about the yes or no of a movie belonging to a collection or not. I just wanted to show that my Custom XML was not read at all. If this would be the case, the exact titles of my Custom XML (right or wrong) would be used.
It seems like my Custom is not overriding. Because I have entries in the Custom like:
<rename id="tt11866324" title="Predator (Prequel) I: Prey" />
<rename id="tt8115900" title="The Bad Guys I" />
<rename id="tt11655566" title="Lilo & Stitch" />
But the result from the new...
I still have the XML called "Rename dBase IMDb+ Scraper (Custom).xml". Should this file also be renamed to work with the new scraper? Maybe some number as a prefix?
I had 16 new movies standing by to be scraped. Did just that with your new scraper and the result is MAGICAL. All movies were scraped again by IMDb+ and all are supplied with Roman Numerals where needed. Also some new additions like (DCU) with Superman 2025, (Live-Action) with Lilo & Stitch 2025...
I found this on the site of themoviedb.org:

I disagree about The Fantastic Four. I did not come up with this myself, but got it from the IMDb.com website. This is what they say:
<rename id="tt0120667" title="Fantastic Four I" sortby="Fantastic Four 1" />
<rename id="tt0486576" title="Fantastic Four II: Rise of the Silver...
Sounds very good! I am curious how the AUTO function will work with some of my more obscure movies and concerts... I have customized my custom scraper XML especially for this. By now it has a lot of entries just for me personally.
As a non-English speaker (Dutch) I have no wish whatsoever for...
@KJ-Cox:
Ok, will you give a heads-up when this has been done? Great!
What do you mean by the "override" file? Is this the custom IMDb+ scraper XML file? I have used this a lot in the past.
