After a clean MP and MySQL uninstallation and deleting all MP and MySQL program and data folders the new MP 1.38 installation fails because the database connection test fails, see attached screenshot. With Maria DB it works.

Works perfect on my system. But I confirm that Visual C++ 2008 x64 needs to be installed although the setup only mentions Visual C++ 2010 and newer.

Ah, I wasn't aware of this standard procedure. :) Now I followed this procedure and started the TVService again. But now the TV-Server Configuration doesn't start anymore.
