0.2.3 rc1: problem when changing channel (2 Viewers)

hi,

i just changed from 0.2.2 with tv3 to 0.2.3 with tv3 and have a problem with changing channels:
most of the times when i change the channel the screen goes either black or freezes at the last frame of the old channel for about 10 seconds, while the audio switches to the new channel immediately. when the video "arrives" it runs fast to catch up to the audio.
at first i thought it was a codec thing, so i changed around(nvidia, ffshow, mpv) but the problem persists.
changing channels before(with 0.2.2&tv3) worked within a second or two(on the same card of course).

any help would be appreciated!
