0 Byte Recordings? Intermittent (1 Viewer)

Hi guys,

Seem to have an intermittent problem (ain't they the worst!!!) with teh TVServer not saving a recording.

I seem to get the folder created, and the MPG file inside but it's 0 bytes.

I seem to get an error message in the logs regarding the conflictsmanager at the end of the recording, however I also get that when the recording is successful.

The show which failed to record was scheduled to start at 19:00 and finish at 20:00 (with 5 minutes contingency either side)

The server error log shows:

Reproduceable

Morning - Reported something similar to this a while back -

I can now reproduce this at any time using the TVServer control panel, manual control and with 2 dvb-t cards.

Simply start timeshifting on BBC1 (for example), then click record.

Start timeshifting on BBC2 (for example), tvserver will start the second card timeshifting, click the record button.

Open the folder containing your recordings, the second recording always stays at 0 bytes.

I'm running media center version of XP so I don't suspect it's the XP limitation problem, I've tried this with a technotrend and a hauppauge first and second card and in all circumstances it fails to record on the second card.

If I add a 3rd dvb-t reciever I can get a recording on card#2 but then card#3 fails.
