Till Yesterday I am forced to use Monochrome, to use Myfilms, cause I rather need it... ;-(

So if you find some time.... it would be very kind of you to implement MyFilms into this fantastic skin.

i'll tried to install myFilms ...

hmm i didn't made it - maybe i am to stupid for that plugin ...
but i am not able to config the plugin ...

always:

there isno movie to display with that file! do you want to continue?

but ill try it again ...(got a headache today)

EDIT:

got it running now - but MePo crashes

- installed ant - catalog
- installed myFilms
- created a database-file (XML)

but mediaportal crashes after 2 seconds when i start myFilms...


no idea why .. tomorrow there will be new day ..
also the day after tomorrow ...

RSS-Ticker weather and RSS Feed overlay

LOVE the skin, absolutely perfect for any HTPC user! and blinding quick in comparison to others out there such as streamedMP etc. layout is top notch and a cool clean look! love it!

just played about with the myhome.xml though as i am a great fan of the rss-ticker so here it is including the weather and rss overlay if anyone else is interested!

just overright the one in the skins folder.

hmm nice idea ...
i like that ..

but i would prefer it at the bottom of the skin ...
(like the feeds in TV) ... also would do the the short-weather-forecast in the right down corner...

reason :

on top there are still some information fields:

- the date-field
- the 3-action-buttons ...

so hmm if you would change it that way
- it would be much more clearly arranged ...

and fit more to the "clean-theme" of dark-essentials ...

what do you think about that suggestion?

hi polarie ! thir is a big defrent betwin myfilms and my video ,my films use data from other movie mangmant program ,like ANT,MOVIE COLLECTOR,DVD PROFILE,a new program called Eax Movie Catalog , in this program
we manging our colection and with the use of exporting to xml we can view our on collection in MP ,
thir is many user that use myfilms and it will be good to add to your skin ..

thats why the plugin is in progress

next update will include myFilms -
and also some new hover grafic
for BluRay ...
for the working-solution (bluray-kind-o-plugin) by mophat ...

only thing with having the rss feed at the bottom is that in runs into the video overlay, although i do agree the weather overlay could be moved to the lower right hand corner, filling the screen much better. try this??

that looks mutch better ...
but for me - the top rss-feed is still a bit disturbing the impression in all @ myHome

hm maybe it is possible to slow down the rss-feed scroling speed and make the
field-box fit next to the overlay ... ? (not so wide as it is now)
so th notch is still given ... and the "video-overlay" does not overlay the RSS-Feed ...

@ the moment i am deep in the "myFilms"-XML's on my rare free seconds in the office
so i couldn't give u a written sample of my thoughts ...
(allways hard for me to switch between two surfaces XML's)
