Okay. Keep in mind that SD is a 3rd party plugin, and this is where I start to get to the end of my knowledge.I turned back on Schedules Direct..
Nice.Great Part...Almost all channels appear to be discovered.
I don't understand how SD works. I know that in certain circumstances it will create channels for you, and to be honest I really don't like that.Bad #1: Both Unknown xx.yy and found SD channels are now listed (360? orig - now 687 channels)
That's because SD has created the channels, and that mapping issue trips up a lot of newbies. Another reason I really don't like it.Bad #2: SD channels are labeled as Channel not mapped to a card
This is something I reported.Bad: #3: Those labeled as channel not mapped also are marked as Channel Number 10000
Excellent!tried the new TsWriter file and it fixes my OTA channel scan problem for those channels. Now I get all the expected major channel numbers and auto-channel numbers from a scan. This is also using the new tvlibrary and QAM tuning files.

This seems to be due to signal strength/quality.today is a "bad scan" day at my location, I needed to do 2 scans to find most of my channels. see attached logs.
I meant to test this last night but forgot.I also tried modifying the MePoConfig > TV "Channel num max length field", set it to 2 and I see all 5 channel number digits in EPG, set it to 5 (max), and also see all 5 digits. No idea that that setting is changing.
