It's very odd, but ever since my 1.8.0 upgrade, after watching something to completion (or, from what I've gathered so far, at least for a few minutes), MP becomes unresponsive to keyboard, mouse, or remote. However, I can take the mouse to the top of the screen and the top bar (general controls) still work.

Also, while in the video, all of the play/pause/FF/RW commands still work via remote/mouse/keyboard. It's only after it ends that it seems to fail.

The only way to fix this is to close and open MP again.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

I just ran into something similar...
Watched most of a Movie yesterday, had to leave but left the movie running.
This morning I cannot access the machine remotely but it appears in the network browser (strange).
Tried to remote access thru \\sylvester\c$ Error that it is not available.
Went to local machine and response was slow but responded.
ALT-TAB and started Task Manager - MediaPortal Client using 50% of CPU.

Will post logs as soon as I figure out what all is and is not working while in this state

Ok, For the moment I have the machine in the same Slow state incase more info is needed.
The movie I played yesterday (the 12th) was Top Gun
The movie ended and the screen appears to have returned to the Home Screen.
Task Manager is still at 50%

Tested with the new build (reinstalled). Watched a movie, got to the end, clicked stop (which was successful). Then same problem.

I then went to the watchdog and clicked "proceed" - and it noted "waiting for exit." When I exited, watchdog closed to, no logs created. I'll try it again next time for new logs.
