10 second delay when selecting "Recorded TV"
I have just completed a fresh installation of MP TV-Server & Client v1.1.1
I successfully imported 800+ existing recordings (all .ts files) which were created from previous MP versions, mainly v1.0.2.
The problem I have is when I select "TV Recordings" on the MP Client. There is now a pause of 5~10 seconds before the shows are displayed.
I tried the same thing on another machine which still had MPv1.0.2 installed and the response was virtually instantaneous, so no problem there.
I noticed that if you remove the recording (TS & XML files) from the Recordings folder they are automatically “groomed” from the database the next time I go to "TV Recordings"
I think the client is confirming all my files when selecting “Recorded TV” and this is causing the delay.
Is this correct and how can I stop it?
