120 dpi setting stops video from playing (1 Viewer)

My DVD Issues dont go away when reverting to 96dpi I even tried 0.2.3.0 RC1 and still no good, well atleast playing mp3's work now.

omg.. this needs to be stickied or faq'd or something...
This one I spent days on trying to figure out what the heck happened...
(Video playback that is..)

I noticed that this was a problem with:
- standard video playback (divx, xvid, etc)
- HD/h.264 playback (hd-encoded mkv files)
- dvd movies

Oddly enough, it didn't affect HD-DVD playback (that played in the ext player PowerDVD).

Most likely the external player is using overlay as a renderer.
