Hi,

1.
With my Technisat Skystar HD, I'm actually not able to switch from any channel to any other channel:
Message: "Unable to start timeshift"
TV is running then I want to switch doesn't matter which way then it takes some seconds message appears.

2.
When I'm watching HDTV using CoreAVC and want to see channel list, OSD freezes.
TV is still running in the background, but no responst from OSD.
One time it unfreezes after about 5 mins.
What's the matter?

Logs attached.

can not confirm any of these issues with my floppy-s2 and latest version of coreavc.

    1. Problem can be solved by adding CI module.

    2. What problems can make MP GUI freeze? Any other codec don't make MP freeze.
Do I have any options to set?

there can be many reasons, i.e. TV-Servers does not respond.
i have not done any special settings or such in the coreavc codec, and all runs very well.

i have however noticed that some audio codecs, other then MPA, can cause some very odd behavior i.e. using skipsteps takes more then 15 seconds for the video to recover

since you allready use MPA i have no ideas whyt else causes your issues.

btw. i had TechnoTrend and twinhan cards in the past. i have thrown all of them away because based on my very personal experience, they are cheap crap.
since i bought the floppy-s2 i didnt had a single issue. keep in mind that both are just plain BDA devices, so hardware/firmware/drivers can make a huge difference when you have a HTPC.
