When I installed those two patches I was then able to blast to my STB. I then realized that I should be using my S-Video input on my card, and so I remapped everything and all is OK. MP is also streaming quite consistently so far. When I first started using the client MP, it would not change channels on the server, but I went ahead and installed IR Server Suite on the client machine, along with the patches, and now I can change the channels with the client.  Many thanks to you and the Media Portal team.
