I can confirm this as well.
Now to the problem itself: This happens very rarely (maybe once every 30 or 40 startups) and I can't reproduce intentionally. I always thought is is a network problem in my network, which is why I didn't dig into it, yet. But now it seems that more people see the same, so it may be a bug in MP2.

I did a follow up test to see if MySQ would be faster than 8 seconds with my 500 Classic songs. It took 5 seconds.
But while looking thru the Client log there was an error.

Yet it completed the import. The server log for that timeframe

Maybe there is something in these logs that can help....

As for the question of # or files in this scan, I am including an output of the directory and it includeds the 500 mp3 files, 1 folder.jpg, and 1 nfo file...

Anything else?
