Have a massive delay when changing to BBC1. It apears that the TV server is timing out. Looks like its new to RC3.
Confirmed that Hauppauge WinTV has no such delays.

Hope someone can help

See the LCN 10000, looks like it has not received the correct tuning information, should read 1 for BBC1, try changing this in tuning details as per picture.

If that does not speed things up, try deleting and then retuning that channel.

    Did the trick

Editing all the channels so they had the correct numbers didnt work.

I had to retune 5 times before getting vailid channel numbers. It makes one think that the defaulting of channel numbers may not be the only problem here in the UK, and that other parameters are also getting missed,

    Ray thank for the help:)

That seriously sounds like a Aerial problem if you had to retune 5 times to get correct information, hopefully your in a area that analogue is getting switched off in, then they can increase the digital signal :)

I am sure you are right. Reception isn't brilliant here, especially in summer where we are pointing through the trees.
However the trees are pretty bare now and I am getting perfect picture with no jitter for the first time ever (due in part to a new set of hardware). I have been using MP for 18 months and have used about 20 builds and have never had to re-tune before (though it is possible that tuning was the cause of other instabilities).

I think channel preselection strategy combined with the problems/solutions described in
    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/get-support-90/one-mux-only-gives-me-10000-lcn-39647/ and
https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...apping-broken-when-channels-deselected-46518/ are probably the cause/solution to my problem as well. It seems to be affecting us more in the UK for some reason.

It would be good that if MP failed to tune properly and therfore defaulted a load of parameters, either it tried again with a longer session or at least gave us a warning to expect problems, so that we can fix at source rather than leave it to us to find a load of secondary effects. It would also mean that people without a problem wouldnt have to have increased tune times.

Hope this doesnt sound too negative as I think the product is great, and a special thanks to Ray for identifying the problem so quickly. :D

    Regards Colin
