aMPed is a 4:3 skin for MediaPortal.
aMPed has started its life because on smaller 4:3 screens larger fonts were needed for readability. So aMPed stands for readability and usability first, design second

We are really proud to announce our latest release (2.0 final)! A lot of hard work has been put into moving aMPed to the next level. With our newest release we have;
- Provided 3 supported font sizes
- Maintained MediaPortal 1.0 backwards compatibility
- Reworked some graphics and styles, hope you like them
- Added some cool features such as the video wallpaper button
- And as always continuous improvements on a lot of the supported plugins. Redesigns for tvseries and moving pictures included!

    Hey Happy, first user, congrats!

    Are you using TV Inbuilt or Server?

    Neither Joz nor I use TVServer so we couldn't test it. But if you are, try editing mytvhomeServer.xml. At that top of the xml, just change <import>common.window1.xml</import> to <import>common.window.xml</import> (just delete the 1 after window) and let me know if that works OR you could just copy common.window1.xml from Blue3 skin folder and that might work as well although you will only get the Blue3 look, not aMPed.

    If you are using TV Server, would you be willing to test it out and let me know if there is anything else not working right? I was flying blind! I can post screenshots of how it should look (from TV InBuilt) if that would help.

    Hey Happy, first user, congrats!

    Are you using TV Client or Server?

    Neither Joz nor I use TVServer so we couldn't test it. But if you are, try editing mytvhomeServer.xml. Just go through the TV Section screens, especially TVGuide, Search, Recorded TV, Scheduled TV and let me know if anything is not working or looks odd or is missing the backgrounds. I think there is one other reference to common.window1.xml in the mytvcompressauto.xml, but that's the only one I could find so far. If your not sure about something, you can just post screenshots here. You can also report any issues you find directly into our Google Code Issue Tracker here: Issues - amped - Google Code

    Thanks a lot for checking this out for us.

    Thanks Happy. Of course we increased the font size and switched to Verdana font, which is a bit larger and I couldn't check TVServer for all the places that needed adjusting. I'll correct those and up the files here as soon as I can.

    Hey Happy, do you think you could up your TVGuide.xml or just some sample test data for me. I don't seem to have all the data you do and can't duplicate all the problems you've found.
