I have an odd problem...
I had 1 x TBS6981 (dual DVB-S2) and 1 x Skystar 2 HD cards, and I could only ever use 2 tuners at once for some reason.
I have now removed the Skystar and added another TBS6981.
I tested by recording 3 channels at the same time, whilst watching a fourth. The channel I was watching switched off, but the 3 recordings worked. This indicates that although I have 4 tuners, I can only use 3 at once? Any idea why?
I am about to add a 3rd TBS6981 tomorrow, so would be good if I could use all 6 tuners, but I suspect I will be stuck with 5!
All channels are mapped to all cards, and all are set to the same satellite. They are also set to enable DVB-S2.
One other thing, browsing the tv guide on my single seat backend server is far slower than browsing on my client only box. Any reason for this? The client feels much more responsive!
Thanks!
