I'm not in any way a coder but could it be that it just needs the mpei to be reconfigured so it recognises x64 installations too? and can install to the x64 locations....

Again not a coder but I would surmise that you need just one folder each of the backupsettingsmp and backupsettingstv.
Is there any difference between the files in each folder? They seem to all have the same version number.

I don't know, it needs to be analyzed, I don't really understand the point of this plugin, and I've never used it, so I don't know anything about what's going on in it.

So I downloaded the release folder and ran the install. It installed and seems to back up Media Portal and TV Server ok. Not sure about IRSS yet.

If I click yes I get a box with a general and a plugin tab.
the general tab shows a table
Name / Type / Min / Max
Backupsettings / Mediaportal / 1.36.100.0 / #.#.#.#

and the plugin tab shows a table
