Guys, in the next version I plan on removing the 4TR and MyAnime plugin handlers.

I believe that Argus replaces 4TR now and MyAnime is now replaced by MyAnime 3 server which has it's own trakt handling.

If im wrong please reply back.

Expect a new trakt plugin in the next day or two, basically a complete re-write was needed for the new trakt API v2. The old plugin will only work with limited methods so sorry for any inconvenience.

P.S. the website is not finished yet, there is still plenty of work to be done, there will be a rapid set of features and bug fixes going forward over the next few days and weeks so be patient. Try to post any feedback/issues in their support forum or Twitter.

However, I am currently getting 'failed authentication' on the plug in for MP1, is this to be expected for the time being?

Probably not, they ported a handful of v1 API methods across to allow login and scrobble until apps are updated. I will check here if I see the same and report if an issue.

Will try get new plugin supporting v2 out soon though.

EDIT: Yes, I see the same issue and reported it.

Just a heads up, when I release the next version of the Trakt plugin (v5.0.0) you will need to re-enter your password. This is because in v2 they no longer use the SHA1 password (which I have saved) for MediaCenter authentication.

This is not the cause of the above issue when using the old plugin.

If I have time, I will knock up an alert dialog when starting up which prompts you to re-enter password.
