I installed 5.0.1 earlier, and now it seems just about every single previously watched episode of every single show has been marked unwatched :-(

I'm not blaming you, ltfearme, just wanted to whine somewhere :) I'm very grateful for the quick update, make no mistake! :)
I'll just leave the machine running and see what happens... I'm hoping that it just has to "catch up" or something.

    That sux!

If it's marked as watched online, then try restart to do another sync it should hopefully restore it. Maybe trakt API gave back some dud response.

Note: you may need to mark something as watched manually via the plugin or website so that the cache knows to update itself. Fingers crossed for you.

Thank you so much for such fast work!

Unfortunately all of my working machines are still on MP 1.6 and Argus TV 2.2, but now that Argus has just released 2.3 final, I will be updating all (three) machines to MP 1.10 and Argus 2.3 this weekend. So, I can't install the new Trakt plug in as I see it only has support for MP 1.7 onwards.

However... I do have a test machine running MP 1.10, so I have installed it on there and had a play around with it. Love it (y)

It seems very fast, compared to the old version, and I have manually updated all the watch flags (since Trakt has been down), hopefully that will get rolled out correctly to the other 3 machines when I install the upgrades.

Also, I can add and remove items from custom lists via this plug in, which is something that I can't even do on the Trakt website.

    Hurrah!

Great work @ltfearme! Now if my total f'd up trakt collection could be fixed. Raised a ticket at trakt support, haven't got any response yet (but that's understandable, they must have a lot to do at the moment...)

Trying that now, and I think you're on to something with the cache having to "wake up". Episodes I saw 7 hours ago have been marked unwatched also, even though they're right on top of my history on trakt.tv. Just restarted Mediaportal and stuff seem to be happening. Good stuff even :)

Thanks again ltfearme! Both for the plugin itself, the fast update/fix to trakt 2.0 and your answer :)

To be honest I cant remember if it supports MP 1.6, the only thing I was sure of was that it supports MP 1.7+. One thing which I could not test was scrobbling from TV plugins so hopefully that still works. My damn tuner is busted on the DEV PC. Thorough testing on MovingPictures and MP-TVSeries was done. Also did some with My Films.

Yeah, the plugin is probably more functionally rich than the website at the moment...im sure that will change shortly.
Your watched flags should sync across fine to your other pcs after upgrade.

Yeah, I think everyone's collection, ratings, watched history etc is not 100% yet. Hopefully all user data is restored shortly.

I'd have to agree with the history not being 100% yet... it seems most of my everything-is-unwatched-problem has been fixed, but some seemingly random episodes of several shows trakt is reporting as unwatched. For instance 23 episodes of Mythbusters, spread over 5 seasons (1, 7, 8, 10, 11) - and I watched them all in order. Weird.

Mines showing loads watched today when I haven't watched anything. Also it says my most watched movie is 'Stink Bomb' yet I've never even heard of it let alone have it in my collection lol. Beats squarepants though ha.

My guess is that the plugin sent a whole lot of watched data to trakt because trakt said it didnt have it, but something was wrongly mapped on their database. Just a guess because there has been reports of wrongly identified series ids on the forums.

The watched date was probably not set in your user database for those items so it defaulted to UTC now. You can check the logs to see what was sent, but I think you may need to of had debug logging enabled.
