One item from this that affects the plugin is that Related Movies/Shows is now working so this should also now be working in the plugin automatically.

Should also start seeing some performance improvements assuming you're now using the latest plugin that uses api-v2launch.trakt.tv.

Please update your apps to use api-v2launch.trakt.tv as the v2 API endpoint. As of now, this new URL points to the same servers as api.trakt.tv. We'll be transitioning more resources towards this new URL (and less to api.trakt.tv) in the coming weeks as you update your apps.

Part of the server issues are caused by the v1 API methods which aren't as optimized. This will also allow us to target v2 methods and resources better in New Relic since v1 won't be clouding those stats.

Quick update. The v2 endpoint is on its own set of servers now and is screaming fast right now. Highly recommended to switch over. This will also help get a better sense of v1 API usage.

• Added support to list a Comments Replies, if a comment has replies then you can click on it to load and read them.
• Added support to Like or UnLike a Comment from the Shouts GUI. You can click on a comment to see a list of actions.
• Added support to add a TV Season to your Watchlist.
• Added support to view a TV Show's Season Information from the Plugins External Menu e.g. from MP-TVSeries.
• Added Collected/Watched icon overlays to TV Season Posters.
  
• Added setting to allow secure communication (HTTPS) with trakt.tv server. This is disabled by default until confident that it works as expected. This can be enabled in Advanced Settings.
• Added online latency logging into seperate file. You can open the CSV file output in the logs directory in a CSV viewer e.g. MS Excel.
• Filter out any duplicate comments. This is detected if the same person writes the same comment.
• Cache custom lists during Sync if syncing of lists is enabled in MovingPictures or My Films. This will result in faster syncs when there has been no changes detected to your online lists.
• Updated logger to keep a history of the last 5 log files, this will be really useful for diagnosing issues.
• Updated translations from Transifex.

Note: Skinners should ensure they expose a Comments 'Likes' and 'Replies' count. The later is important for a user to know that a comment has replies which can be read. These properties have been available for some time, see the Titan skin for reference if you a unsure.

A Comment is also known as a Shout on trakt, the term 'comment' is used because a comment can be a short (Shout) or long (Review). Reviews are typically greater than 200 words.

Titan skin files for Trakt are included with the installation package and yes they're up to date, a lot of work has been put into them recently. StreamedMP has pretty much everything already since the last release but has a few minor changes needed to get it 100% to date (mainly in the Settings GUI). When I release StreamedMP next it will of course include updates for Trakt.

Just a heads up, we are going to be moving the repository from https://github.com/Technicolour/Trakt-for-Mediaportal to https://github.com/trakt

I will let you know when the move is complete, im going to have to ask @high to change the url which MPE Manager uses to get the Trakt update.xml and notify of any new releases of the plugin.

• Added new GUI windows to allow skinner to better group buttons in the trakt home screen. TV (ID: 87500), Movies (ID: 87501) and Lists (ID: 87502). Skinners have the choice (not required) to add these buttons and replace the existing Trending, Popular, Watchlist and Recommendations button. You can group Trending Shows, Popular Shows and Recommended Shows in the TV window, similarly you can do the same under the Movies window. All the Watchlists and Custom Lists can be grouped in the Lists window. Changes have been made to the Titan skin to reflect these changes and can be used as a reference.
