A case for continued My Picture development (1 Viewer)

Any word on when My Pictures may be updated? It really is lacking still.

Since this is Open Source Software - all is needed is a developer (I think all the current developers are working on the video based items/issues) that is willing to spend the time and effort to update this plugin.

I think there are some excellent ideas in this thread and yes someone should definately jump on board I wish I could code..
