I sent off the details on my TD-500 today as per the procedure mentioned above (https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/getting_your_h_w_tvcard_supported_you-t1573.html)

Hopefully we will get support soon. The TV 3 Server beta already supports the card fine (as a dual tuner card which are not supported I understand by TV2).

The card works fine in Hauppage's programs and my hauppage remote works in Mediaportal.

I got a quick response from a developer on my feedback above and support for the TD-500 is now fully working in SVN build from 15366. Guess you can copy the CaptureCardDefinitions.xml back into RC1 if needed but I've no idea whether this is a good idea or not so don't quote me!

I have, and you are right, the definitions should work fine with older versions of MP.

I can confirm Hauppage TD-500 is working fine with CaptureCardDefinitions.xml Rev 15366 as attached and Mediaport 0.2.3.0 RC1.

It crashed while scanning during the settings wizard, but when it was added via Mediaportal configuration setup, everything scanned correctly.

Still trying to grab EPG from the DVB, but that's another matter.

Go to C\programs\teammediaportal\mediaportal and you should find the above file, just overwrite with the new version.

Then run mediaportal setup\tv\cards and add your card (no.1) then edit and you will see a drop down menu for your country\transmitter run autotune, also on this page you can set your recording folders (if you do not want MP's default), hit ok then add again and repeat above for 2nd card

Was beginning to think this HTPC was not worth the agro - never mind the grief from the wife! Have got both tuners on the list, but not getting any channels, but thats another story.

I couldn't find any channels in my 'UK-my city' settings either, until I used the 'UK-All Regions' settings. Choose this from the dropdown list. This should sort you out

After using this card for a while in vista media center, i've found it crashes a lot. Mainly when a recording has finished.

How's everyone else getting on with this card who are using it?
