About the PureAudio plugin (1 Viewer)

For MediaPortal 1.1.0.0 and higher, this plugin can be installed using the MPEInstaller program. It is listed in the "known extension" list.

I would just like to warn/inform everybody about my experience with the pureaudio plugin.

Pureaudio has in the extensionlist .MP4. If I leave it there, the result is that the pureaudio plugin takes over the playback of the MP4 files even if the file is a movie. In that case the result is that I see a black screen and I only hear the audio.
After deleting the .MP4 extention from the pureaudio list, the mp4 movies play fine. Ofcourse MP4 audio files are not played back with pureaudio after that. (I dont mind that, as I dont have those files)

Hi Symphy are you going to release a Pureaudio version that works with 1.1.0RC1? as last version does not install on RC1 it says installing using old MP installer but when I go to the setup, plugins it is not installed.

It can be installed on the latest version, but I won't advice it.
It's pretty broken in RC1. Media Portal Freezes when you switch from music to video or when The Dynamic Refresh Rate kicks in.
It also freezes up when it plays music and Live TV is switched on.

Pretty bad, I miss the Replay Gain function now, so I hope for a new version.

I'm working on it. I can say that i have it running on RC1 myself, and have not encountered any problem yet, except for the visualizations. I will test the scenarios described here.

I cannot do anything with the statement that MP freezes somewhere.
