About the X-Factor Skin (R479) (8 Viewers)

Hi guys, sorry for this stupid question, but I'm fighting with a real weird situation here...

I was making some changes in the layout with the skin editor plugin and I just saved a real mess here... Now I'm trying everything to get back to the original basic home and I just can't. I tryed uninstalling the skin, cleanning cache... I tryed also to use a windows RESTORE POINT, but I just failed to get XFactor BasicHome back to the original!

Where are saved this stuff? I'd thank you very much for any help here, cause I really liked this skin and now I'm being forced to use another one.

I'm using Vista Ultimate x86 with MP 1.02.

Start MediaPortal Configuration.
At the top of the window, you'll see an icon named "User files", click it.

Now you *should* be in the directory where stuff like this are saved. Does it contain any reference to XFactor?

Hi,

just wanted to point out a couple of little things that could be tweaked on the screen where you program a tv show to record/don't record (not sure what .xml it is) - the TV channel icon & 'Rec' dot could be larger (big icon size?); also, the genre down by the description doesn't all fit - screenshot attached.

Thanks Emph. I found the files in the AppData folder. Now everything is working fine.

Looks great! Are the album names scrolling horizontally if they are too long to be shown completely (e.g. 2nd from left in 1st row)?

The selected album name will scroll if to long. Unselected items does not scroll

Looks very nice. I still find it hard to see what album/movie are actually selected in your thumb views generally. I believe that might be because I have a Plasma TV and your working on the skin on an LCD, but I might be wrong.'

It would be cool if the selected item could have a glow around them. Perhaps this could be achieved by having the glow on all items, and on top of them put a frame that hides it. And then use a transparent frame that let's us see the glow behind it on the selected items? I don't know if this will work, but just an idea.

hi cul8er ! look very good but 1 thing the title for each album not good ,have this style with title under each icon in Blue3wide skin and it is not so good , mach prefer big title on top or down when select icone the title will show ,
most of the album title are long and you find yourself wating for the scroling to be finsh, raly not so good..
