hi cul8er ! her are the screenshots from my lcd full hd res' 1920 x1080 , as you can see thir is meny place font overlaaping , or cut from the screen , abut besic home with weather down it also on the down part cut of in the 2 style
menus , abut the music icons the first line is abut 10~15% under the topbg ,,,, any way im sure you can see all ..
please let me know ...soon i will start mack the ajustment for my mod ...

Is this problem already solved, because i have the same issue's. I will post a picture tonight, so you can see what i mean. When looking at the info of a film, the text is overlapping. I have the latest catalyst and a hd3650 graphic card.No underscan or overscan, 0%. Hdmi connection, through a hdmi-bridge on one of the latest sony receivers (the one with dts-hd etc.).Windows 7 64bit.
i think it has to do something with fonts or drawingsize.

hi eelos ! for me it was the Graphic card ,sinss it was new (2 moths old) i just chang it to a new one ,and now i see good
on my 42" LG LCD res' 1920 x 1080 .. all good .
some peple olso say it's the fonts dpi .

ok thanks ysmp, but my problem lies in the dpi settings, like you said.
I've got it working now, thanks to your tip.here goes:

if you are having this problem

you should uncheck windows xp style dpi scaling, this is in windows 7, right mouse button,screen resolution,make text and other images larger smaller,set custom text size (dpi)

Hi,

Next version of the xfactor skin is progressing very well and I have got great help in testing the skin from dlarge500. I hope to have the version ready early next week. The screenshots in the first post in this thread are now all updated to show how next version will look. No new features are added. Focus has been on improving all the graphics used and add a more common color scheme. But also fixing all known bugs and improve stability and performance.

Here are a few images from the first post to show some of the changes. Note the smaller covers used in filmstrip to show more of the fanart, the golden/orange lines and list "backgrounds". All dialogs are also centered in the screen.

Hi,

I just installed the X-factor skin and followed every step in the guide. I've got most of the stuff working and must say that I really love this skin! There's just one problem: I can't seem to edit the basichome.xml within MP Configuration under Plugins. It's says: "Nothing to configure, only enabled". All the files seem to be in the right places (according to the guide), so I dont know what I'm doing wrong.

A little help would be appreciated

You'll need to configure the second plugin (process) for the Basic Home. Don't forget to press "generate" as well as "Save".

Hi,

I know I said that next version should contain no new features. But this was a really small one and so I decided to include it. Music fanart support in MyLyrics plugin. I got a bit bored watching these lyrics on the same background all the time. Now it changes as the artist changes if you have music fanart (read more on setting up fanart for music in the FAQ thread).
