Re: R630 - Logs from stuttering

I used to have the same problem with stuttering and out of memory crashes but it has been working fine for several days now since I installed the latest fanarthandler 1.9 and reinstalled infoservice from within mpinstaller. I also increased the refresh time for the rss feeds to 30min and changed feed separator back to default :: . I have only one feed configured and set both ticker maxes to 10. I don't know if this helps you but it seemed to fix issues. According to my logs the out of memory crash seemed to happen when infoservice refreshed the feed at the same time as fanarthandler started scraping...?

    Hi Perls,

    From the infoservice.log I see that you have this error;
    "2010-04-30 16:07:46 | InfoService | Error | Localization file doesn't exist. Folder C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Language\InfoService doesn't exist".

Please install the fix included in the fix thread for this error and see if it helps.

AW: About the X-Factor Skin (R630)

    Hi,

I just updated to R630 but something is messed up now: I use the "ImagesNoRSS" Screen. It now shows me TVSeries fanart on MovingPictures and also on MyMusic. In configuration I selected the correct items (random fanart, music etc).

Hard to explain because my english sucks, sorry :-(

No, sorry, still get the low memory warning after a while with RSS enabled.
One more observation - If TV is started with RSS enabled and I then press
the green button to return to the home menu, the feed and menues are
stutter-free for a little while before the stutter begins again. No problems
    when viewing TV either.

    Regards /Per

    Hello everyone,

Thank all the effort involved in this great skin.

I have a newbie problem :sorry:
Using X-Factor skin for a month or something else. Everything worked perfectly, it was great. Three days ago the skin updated to version 630 and I have problems. Movements in the menu are not smooth and in some cases the letters of a menu or plugin overlap. Install the fonts required by the skin but everything went wrong

I would like to return to previous version of X-Factor (do not remember which was) but I only find to download a 630. Where I can find previous versions?

    Thank you very much. :D

    Hi fabien44,

Run the MP Configuration. The select the "XFactor Menu Editor" plugin. Press the other options tab (in the middle of the screen) and you have the option "Basichome fade on now playing". Set this to disabled.

    best regards

    Hi Mike1978,

Thank you for your feedback. This issue has been reported before in this thread and I cannot reproduce it but think it is caused by a known bug in MP's animations. This bug (in MP 1.1 RC2) is now fixed and will be included in next MP 1.1 RC.

I hope this solves the problem but is not sure.

    best regards
