The new TV-server/-client is working very well - special the "resizing-bug" in the client is gone.

I´ve just one tiny problem and that´s AC3. The Client gives me ac3 and stereo for selection, but nothing happens after i select ac3 - playback is still mpg.

Same problem here, using SPDIF (optical) and nvidia purevideo (SPDIF Passthrough).
Will check if theres anything in the logs next time I got the chance to watch something with AC3.

Got the same problem. Nothing happens when you select AC3. Dont have any logs right now since I'm at work - but if needed I'll try to provide those. AC3 works fine with DVDs and videos.

...I got the chance to watch something with AC3...
Pro7 and SAT1 are sending all the time with AC3 (not just for DD 5.1 movies).
A simple short test (with pure-video) is to call the controlpanel. Go to the audio tab. If AC3 is working, you´ll have the audioformat Dolby Digital.

Sry, was too early in the morning, yes that seems related to the linked thread gibman.

Anyway, all I get in the logs is the following:

The audio stays on the "standard" one tho, which is MPEG-2 on Pro7.

    Ok, got a bit further.
Checked the TVEngine3 stream with VLC and there all 3 contained audio streams (PCM German,PCM English, AC3 5.1 German) were selectable and working.
So there must be something wrong in Mediaportal itself.
