I have tried simple as well as complex passwords but I keep getting "Connection Failed #28000Access denied for user 'root'@'pcname.domain.net' (using password :YES)"</p><p></p><p>I have removed and re-installed MySQL and TV Server several times using default password as well as manual password including basic and complex but still can't get connected.</p><p></p><p>what am I missing ?</p><p></p><p></p><p>Duck</p><p></p><p></p><p>OK... just went through the very tediuous MySQL manual on resetting the root password. And I have a connection. But WTf went wrong in the install/setup process ?</p></blockquote><p></p>
