I have having a problem with the TV Server and my analog Adaptec Capture card, when trying to preview the S-video channels I get the error Preview failed:NoVideoAudioDetected

When looking in the error logs 2 things stand out
(1) an Error in Error.log 2009-02-08 16:38:59.250000 [13]: analog: unable to connect capture->tee/sink
(2) and an error in TV.log 2009-02-08 19:27:44.059946 [12]: card: WaitForTimeShiftFile - no audio was found after 20 seconds

I have tried numerous SVN builds and not had any luck, the DVB-T card is working perfectly on both this machine and another machine on the network that is set up as a client.

hopefully this will something simple that I have missed in the setup of the card.

OK, So I have tried a few more things.

I have uninstalled all Mediaportal components (TV Server and Mediaportal) with the total cleanup option, I have then gone in and deleted all the Mediaportal Folders.

I also uninstalled the TV Card drivers, rebooted ran a Reg clean and then reinstalled the Tv card drivers, rebooted and then reinstalled Media Portal and TV Server.

Again I can tune my Terratec card in without any problems, it finds all the channels it should and can preview them without any problems.

The Adaptec card however will still not play ball, I have added the S-Video channels but am still unable to preview on the TV server and unable to start Timeshifting on the client machine. The logs confirm that the error message is still the same.

I was able to get the AVC-3610 (external usb dual analog tuner) working by making some code changes. I'll run a build that you can try out later today, I'd say there is a good chance that it will work.

:D OK, am downloading the files now, will give them a try this evening and let you know.

Ok, its very good news!

I needed to register mpgmux.ax, but after that it works perfectly!

Thank you very very much!

Was this patch included in the latest release (1.01.0) of MediaPortal?
