add episodes from within mediaportal? (1 Viewer)

is there a way to update episodes without going into media portal configuration? for instance, everytime i get a new episode of a show, i have to close it down, go into the configuration, import, then reload it. is there a way to just click a button under setting and have it done?

If you bring up the context menu and then go to actions -> Force Local Scan, that should do what you need.

ah ok. that works. i never tried that because i have a dinovo mini keyboard and it doesn't have function keys!

You could change the keyboard mapping to map the context menu key to a key you don't use on that keyboard. You may have already known that, just wanted to put it out there.

Do you have the option 'Watch my import folders for changes automatically' enabled?

This should monitor your import folders for new\deleted files and update the database accordingly.
