This is hardcoded in the Sudoku plugin. Someone needs to create a different colored game board or background for it.
Here is an updated tvseries xml to create the layout as shown below.
The attached formatting rules should be imported in MP-TV-Series Configuration. Without these rules some information will not be shown. You can easily alter these rules through the MP-TVSeries configuration to customize the information shown on screen without having to modify the xml files. If more information is needed about using these rules please let me know.

It would be absolutely perfect if the banners were moved the the left of the screen, and we had the series synopsis on the right. Oh, and when i go into it for the first time, it doesnt display the transparent background sometimes?Here is an updated tvseries xml to create the layout as shown below.

I think he did it on purpose to not show the series description on the first page since you already have that on the second page and you have more space now for showing more shows at the same time.
And it was also requested at least by me to show it this way. Maybe even have 9 shows instead of the 6 showing now but i already like it

Like Buzzie said, the series information is left out on purpose to provide more space for extra banners. If you set the series view to text in the MP-TVSeries configuration it will show the series information. Doesn't look as nice though without the banners.
If you prefer less banners and more information about the series, you can try the version posted here
I know about the background not showing sometimes when you first enter the tvseries screen but i haven't figured out what is causing this yet. It is only the first time after starting MP but it shouldn't happen.

First let me say thank you for all the great work you are doing.
Would it be possible for you to make one with 9 banners and post a screenshot to see how it looks?
Or maybe have it like it is done in the spinsafe 1080 skin. Looks pretty nice as well as long as lots of information about the show and episodes.

I had the same problem when starting up. Did some changes with the <visible> command and now I fixed it.
Pretty sure you can fix this..

Thanks for your help... the common.widow.tv.xml helped... but still i have a little problem:
I attatched a screenshot. On the screenshots it doesn't look that bad, but on the tv i can't see it...
It's the selection Background. It's black on a very dark panel...
Can you tell me which image that is and i would replace it with a lighter one...

Oh yes... and an other thing. My mainmenu is vertical. If i hit the Button on the top to change it, it changes to horizontal but as soon as i move the mouse its kind of white ......
