Help getting TV as first choise instead of TV Series

Hi everyone


Im using this great skin now in MP RC2 - and this is looking very sweet.

Ive managed to get all TV sektion with EPG working nicely after some editing og xml files.

But now im having just one problem.

How to get first choice of AEON to be TV sektion instead of TV Series sektion...

Can anyone hint me in direction where to edit this ?

I just added a weather image/background - abd it looked stunning!
you can find it here: Free Purple Sky Photos / Desktop Backgrounds / Wallpaper (free for personal use).

Just add it to the media\weather-folder, and rename to WT0006.jpg (if you only have the original 5)

Hi Jacob,

You will have to edit the BasicHome.xml and alter the default control.

Go to MediaPortal\skin\Aeon wide\ and open BasicHome.xml with a text editor.
The fourth line should be <defaultcontrol>98702</defaultcontrol>
Change the number to 98711 to change the default control to TV.

myLyrics updated (basic operation)

Another screen I use a fair bit so brought this into line with look and feel. Not perfect as the .lcr stuff does not work, not sure if plugin or skin issue as can not get it to work on any skin I have tried. Will have a more in depth look later after I grab the source for it.

For now this does me, just the basic operation.

On to GlobalSearch....

Do u know how to make it work from now playing screen? now I can't navigate to the "my lyrics" button, when best album tracks is available. I can get to this plugin only from plugins menu.

Just noticed that....doing these mods on my laptop so no access to remote but seems also happens with keys...will look into to it....maybe not as simple as I thought

I've got one request for the series episode view!

Every alternative has the same issue (imho): next to the episode name, the air date is shown.. However, it's also shown in the right info panel.. So why don't just delete the one next to the episode name, so that long episodenames are shown as a whole?

Had to make a minor change to MyMusicPlayingNow.xml - not sure why a change to the myLyrics xml would alter how this behaves!

Keys left/right/up/down is essentially the same as remotes arrows.. They both depend on the 'onup' commands. Without looking at any xml's I would think theres an ID conflict, or just some 'onup' lines that arent correct.

oh and great that you will do globalsearch, I was going to add it myself, but I never came further the making the menu item work, and add it to shares view Getting a 22'' 16:9 monitor to my dev PC in a month or so, that will probably make things easier(better then a 5:4 at least)
