1. The Mini-TV in basichome is blocking the new nice weather plugin that sambal did.
2. The "Control"-buttons (exit mp, play..) are blocking the date & time in the TV screen (check the pictures in the url)

Doh, just beat me to it, here's a screenie of a similar filmstrip I'm using (working on):

It uses "fanart" in the same folder as the backdrops - so long as the movie name is the same as the MP db title

Any chance of me playing/using this? Looks great!

IMO you should either remove overlays completely, or make the overlay plain text and set it at the bottom left (and left aligned) of the screen.. creating a new simpler overlay for this screen. I dont want you to move the filmstrip upwards as I want to see as much of the fan art as possible.. Might get overlapping issues with the current placing of the filmstrip tho..
Sambals fixed filmstrip mod would solve this(?), but I guess you cant pressume everyone have it..

I'm currently developing an alternative (or possible rewrite) to the My Trailers plugin. The skin file is very basic (using the facade common elements from the video skins) but as I use Aeon Wide myself on my HTPC i had to create this second skin file for personal use The plugin is functional for the most part but doesn't supply movie details yet (it DOES supply title, covers, release date and all the trailers clips).

The plugin and Aeon Wide specific skin file can be downloaded here.

It seems I can't play any trailers. When I select one, the screen turns black for 5 seconds and returns to it's original state. I'm probably doing something wrong...

why not placing the overlay in the top right corner beneath the menu?
Ok it's not what you are used to from MediaPortal, but there is unused space ...

I recommend you to start looking in the My Trailers thread (start here ) You are not the only one.

Does anyone knows how to adjust de focus color in the TV window (mytvhome.xml)? If I open this window from the BasicHome.xml and I go down with the remote controle, from TV Guide to TV on/off then I see the selected option is a little grey. But I want to use an other color, for example green like the progress bar below in the same window.

I hope someone know how to do this, because I am looking for hours now, but still haven't found it where to change this.

Movies = My Films?

Just installed 1.0 RC2, and Aeon Wide from SVN as of 8/11. All works pretty well (my compliments), even MP-TVSeries (using 2.0.3114) I then installed MesFilms 4.5 for SVN using MPInstaller, but during install, did not check 'Aeon Wide' as from reading this thread it looked as if the skin had preliminary support for this plugin (hope I did that correctly).

I have MP config'd to start with Basic Home. I have MP-TVSeries and MesFilms configured to Display in Home. When I select 'Movies', all that happens is that it drops back to the default menu item (TV). Selecting 'TV Series' seems to work OK.

Just for grins, I config'd MesFilms to 'Display in Plugins', and then navigated to the Plugins screen, and can start 'My Films' from there, but my question is how I get it connected to the 'Movies' selection on Aeon's basichome menu?

You need to use the Aeon menu editor, you'll see it under Aeon skin, stickied along with this.
