Aeon Wide (1366x768) (5 Viewers)

I'm having "problem" with My Programs plugin and Aeon Wide.

When I go to my programs from main menu, the left side menu is already open by default (where you can select view type etc.)

This is not the case with for example my videos. It's a bit annoying because I only want to see program listing and not the menu first when I enter.

Is there someone that could fix this? Thanks.

I love it You're very good at making things I want ^^ (more on that in my second comment later in this post)

..Except the color of the label, more and more people tend to color the labels, I don't like that, I think this skin should be kept in black&white tones.. Not a big deal for me as I just change them myself, but Im wondering if iam alone feeling colors dont belong? (except for in the background)

Second is more of a design thing: I would like to see that filmstrip view from xbmc, but in black.. You either color the blue/grey bottom texture black, or put in a black .bmp and make it see trough fading upwards like the texture that is there now. In my head it looks awesome ^^

If noone beats me too it I might mock something up tomorrow

How do you like XBMC compared to MP?

There three things I like in XBMC:
1 - The skin engine seems much better with regard to rendering images and text (interface salso seems more responsive).
2 - I like the way you can add files/folders etc from the GUI.
3 - Having individual skin settings is cool also.
Couldn't see myself using it full time tho, I only use it for checking out their new skins

Btw, are the backgrounds linked as MP-TvSeries FanArt somehow?

Yep, using the same folders as the existing bg images. For movies - use the db title name.jpg, for music use artist.jpg and for tv shows use series name.jpg. Also I've added three more folders; dvd, radio and tv shows so you can have different bg images for more screens .

The only thing that doesn't fit (as far as one can see on the screenshots) is the text directly on the backdrop. Partly very hard to read ...

I know it's a problem with MP, looking at the GUIListContol.cs source there seems to be another skin element that doesn't work:

If this was fixed, Ray wave your magic wand , then the listcontrol could be in black text, changing to white when highlighted, that's how it works in Aeon-XBMC

Yeah, I wasn't sure about that either, but it seems to fit nicely looking at it on my LCD.

Ok, I have now got this installed...does not actually work on my system but will enough to skin it!

Unless anyone elase started this I will see if I can turn something round this evening.

The classification in the database is kinda screwd, just stores one. It should be a multiple to multiple relation with classifications in their own table.
At least here in NL we have multiple classifications for one show.
Not really into C# yet, used it a bit for school some time ago, so fixxing this will take me a lot of time. If any of you guys is able to take up to the task I'm greatful.

Also fixed some of the games (hexxagon, clickmania, connect4, chess, minesweeper, tetris, Simon Says, MasterMind). See files attached.
Their might still be some small issues, but it should work ok (might have problems with the scoreboard not being (completely) visible).
If so I could adjust it, it's based upon my 1680x1050 screen atm.

Updated MySimon with support for the newest release (menu will now hide when game is played),
Made some screens,
Still some issues persist: chess plugin is buggy I believe (sometimes not all chesspieces of player are visible).
Also having problems with Minesweeper's menu being behind the playfield.

Ok.. it took a while, but I think I finally fixed it.

So here is the TvGemist skin for Aeon Wide.

The .rar file also contains a few backdrops for TVGemist

Note:
Uitzendinggemist, SBS-gemist and RTL-gemist have different items which can be used. Therefore the layout differs a little bit as well.

This TV screen is just awesomeness. I adjusted some things (didn't really line out well on my screen res) though.

One question. Is it possible to move the recordpin (probably is, point me in the right direction )? It's sitting in the wrong place atm overlapping the weather (in other skin parts) and the Newsticker with your TV skin.

Gonna tryout the new tvgemist skin right now. The screens look good!

Edit:

It's probably some codec issues but I can't get uitzendiggemist to work anymore (SBS and RTL work). Sometimes clicking on a show from uitzendinggemist opens up a previus show from RTL or SBS gemist.
Any solution?

And thx the_ult for the skins. Couldn't quite get it right myself

Thanks for sharing Don.I have two issues so far and the fonts on the right are to small(but this can be modified inside the .xml file i think)...I will attach a screenshot so you can understand.
