I have a question though, I would like to remove "Music Vid" from the main menu because the plugin doesn't work for me. Pretty sure it's a MP thing, i dunno Another topic explains how to do it but i'm not sure if the same direction apply to this version of Aeon.

This version of Aeon uses the same basichome.xml, to be honest with you that particular xml is rather complicated - that's why I just left it as is.

The movie title is cut off because it is a really long title I was wondering if is possible the have it scroll?

I'm still working on it, it's just going a bit slow atm because I'm transplanting my htpc .

Well i started editing the musicoverlay file so the now playing info is just above the menu but them i realized its going to be in the way on other pages so i changed it back and moved the menu bar up. I could move it so the music info is up the top left hand conner but it might look a bit strange.

Well i have spent alot of time playing around with the basichome.xml file and have managed to remove music videos from the menu, its not the best job. Theres a few little animation problems when some of the text slides off the screen but i dont have any more spare time to try and fix it.

I have attached 2 different versions one with the menu bar in the middle of the screen and the other one the menu bars closer to the bottom. Just download the one you prefer and rename it to BasicHome.xml, copy it to the aeon skin folder and overwrite the old one.

Which png do i have to edit to get a selection when using mini epg (now\next screen) as all black, not sure whether to change background or highlight button.

Wow this seems perfect to me. The animation problem isn't a problem at all as your eyes focus on the highlighted menu item anyway. You only notice it if you're looking for it. I really appreciate this fo0d, great job and many thanks.

In Psycho reptile's skins, I also edit the basichome.xml to change the "watch", "listen" and "other" labels, but here I can't seem to find the labels at all.
Can someone point me to the right file to edit?

I believe this skin doesn't use labels for the menu it uses images so you have to edit the image.

So if you wanted to change "TV SERIES" to "TV SHOWS" you would have edit
mymenu_TVSeries_focus.png and
mymenu_TVSeries_nofocus.png
which are located in the media folder for this skin.
