Aeon Wide (1366x768) (3 Viewers)

Is MesFilms 0.4.5 (or whatever the latest version is) supported? I find this plugin to manage my movies a bit more indepth than the default MP one, however when I use Aeon, it looks a little funky.

@ PD, Trevor and Sambal - how are we gonna manage all these new xmls? Are they gonna be uploaded to SVN or should we add them to the first post or a new thread. Ideas?

thanks for an excellent skin! Installed the skin file from frontapge on rc2 latest svn build and it just works. Of corse.. We have noticed the loss of background when using the mouse (some times) but Im usually not using the mouse on the tv anymore.

However. We have found one annoying little bug in the my recording under my tv. Some days ago we lost the EPG information and all our shows was recorded as manual. In bluetwo I had a folder with all the manual recordings, but that folder just isn't there in aeon :s

That is the only thing annoying us after 2 days use of the nicest skin we've ever seen! Thanks for this super great work!

now I have to get some time off work to play with the nice RSS and weather things.. and just look at the tv with joy!!!

I started to look at this last night but will need to set this up and grab some Emulators etc, never used this plugin.

Will see what I can turn out this evening...unless anyone else is working on this.

Ok, had a look this evening, took nearly as long to setup the plugin and populate it with stuff as to do the mods(mainly as started playing the dam things!! regressing to my early years )

Anyway, attached is a very early version of the skin file, not finished by a long shot but need some info from someone who has the plugin setup correctly.

On my system here the thumbnails do not appear, that goes for this version and Blue Two so may be a problem with the laptop. Can you try this and let me know how it looks, do you get the thunbnails etc, sceenshots would be good.

I took a look at this, this morning, and as you can see from the two screen shots, everything looks perfect.

My opinion:
- Add the new/improved ones to SVN

- Add an extra tv-series map with the different versions
- Give the tv-series skin builders upload rights to their own tvseries map (there are 3 tv-series builders atm: Sambal, Mattsk88, Roopert)

- Release a weekly Aeon Wide build in the first post every week.
- Release a monthly Aeon Wide build on teammediaportal.com (next release: version 1.1, the first of september)

svn is kept up to date with these changes. So if you want the latest and greatest, get it from svn. As the_ult says it could be an idea to provide a packaged version on a weekly basis. Without the backdrops to keep the download size down. This way the changes are easily accessible for everyone which will result in more feedback.

Thanks for testing, did not think it was that complete...just leaves a few nav issues to sort and clean up the xmls then.

Suggestions welcome on what else needs looking at.

Actually they will be incorporated into Aeon Wide, we've just agreed to sort out all the issues with the current release before graphics and layouts

Hey sorry to ask again... (Hmm you know where this is going) but um do you cool catz know of a MediaSlayer skin, also an OnlineVideos skin would be good, two rather cool plugins... It is ashaim though, I had to choose between MediaSlayer and that really neat BBC World Ticker for Basic home, really hard decisition, as they both required replacing the Windowsplugin.ini

Never seen mediaslayer will have to check it out, as far as onlineVideos goes, does that work with RC2? Last I tried it I had a load of problems which is a shame as used it a lot once.

Will check it out and see it I can get it working again and add the skin file to the list if all looks ok....
