After Upgrade to MP 1.1.1. freecom DVB-Tuner won't work any more (1 Viewer)

...and may I add the obvious: Other software using the BDA-driver works fine (I tried TSReader lite and chose the standard BDA DVB-T device).

Any more insight into this issue greatly appreciated.

I hate to be a pain, but is there no serious developer interested in investigating a reproductible bug that was clearly introduced with the MP 1.1.x releases?

I think the issue is that it is not reproducable by any of the devs. No-one else has reported similar issues so it seems related to your card or your setup. If someone else with the same card could show that they have the same issue that would be a start

Hi,
have you tried to select another network provider (In TV-Server Configuration -> TV Servers -> Your Server Name & Click on your card + edit & at bottom select DVBT instead of generic) ?

Hi,

I have the same issue but with a different card.
My card is a Lifeview FlyDVB Trio. I have also done a compleate uninstall of MP 1.0.2. Installed the 1.1.1 and have the same problem that no channels wont be found during scanning on the DVB-T card. No signal.

For me it is clearly a problem in MP 1.1.1 and not a specific card problem.
Also other people in the forum report the same symptoms with MP 1.1.1.

So what to do now?
How about a bug in the bug tracker?

In this thread there are only two users reporting an issue
Bugs only get logged when someone on the team can confirm the issue (I am running 1.1 and I have tried tuning with several TV cards and all scan fine so tuning is working for me)

I am not sure whether the cards you are both using in fact use the same chipset?

Also I believe your card has multiple tuners, do all of these not work or just one?

Edit: Also I believe you are seeing a different issue to the op

their logs show the tuner locking on but no channels being found during a scan. If you are having issues with scanning please add logs showing the scan
