Can signal:0 be the problem in mp 1.1.1 ?

I would not take too much notice of that number as it might not be remotely accurate.
Can you provide similar full tv logs showing a scan in 1.1 please

tv.log is from 1.0.2
tvserver_tv.log is 1.1.1

This guy has made a patched dll to avoid this behavior. I will try it if I have some spare time to install MP 1.1.1 on the box.

The frequencies being scanned in the two files are different

eg in 1.0.2 logs you have

But 514000 does not exist in 1.1 logs. Similarly in 1.1 logs you have freq 506000 but this is not in 1.0.2 logs at all

Can you check you are actually scanning the right frequencies

Good hint,

the log from 1.1.1 shows a region scan for germany and the log from 1.0.2 shows a full scan for all german regions.
Howerver the frequencies from 1.1.1 log should also appear in 1.0.2 log.
I have also done several scans for all german regions with 1.1.1 and didn't found a channel.

This means for me that the transponder list for german DVB-T is wrong since 1.1.1.
Please can you check this?

I do not know the DVT-T tuning frequencies in Germany but I would have thought someone would have noticed by now is details were wrong. See first page for details of old and new file formats (new is in post#1 and old one in post#6)

So you can compare the two to see if they are the same.

I am not sure what tuning files shipped with 1.0.2 and 1.1.1. So assuming the tuning details are correct (I would have thought they are). We really need to have clean logs from both just showing a scan of the same set of transponders. If you could stop tvservice, delete all logs then start tvservice, do scan, gather logs then that would make it far easier to compare

I gave up.

I installed W7 64 now. There are newer driver for my tv card for 64 bit systems available.
Now scanning channels works fine. I think the xp driver for the tv card was faulty and mp 1.1.1 can't loger handle this.
