MP2 - V2.4 Alexa Voice-Control for MP2 (2 Viewers)

I found a little time and meanwhile could better understand some of the specific behaviours of Alexa.

• {..} Specific words to be filled (e.g. channel name)
• (..) Parts, that are optional / can be omitted in some cases (usually only needed for the first command, afterwards not needed)

Accordingly I updated the overview. Others are welcome to test/comment or fill further.

First of all, thank you for all your effort and support.

I tried to use the Alexa plugin with MediaPortal 2.3.2, but it didn't work.
I can see the Alexa plugin on settings/plugin but without any configuration items.

May you can help me, what I doing wrong?

As mentioned a browser window is opening to log in. I guess, that the MP2-Client is stealing the focus. Bring it to windowed mode and see, if a window is hidden in the background.

Thank you, you are right the windows was just behind MP. Now it works!

Hello and Happy new year,

I installed the Plugin from Download page.

The Login Dialog looks strange (no fields for username and password)
no action possible inside the opened Dialog.

Is there a little mistake or what can I do?

Have you clicked on "Login with Amazon"? User and PW should appear then.

I am able to edit the "DEVICE CALL NAME"

but mouse click on Amazon shows no further action

I am not able to move the external window and tried clicking all around ....

tried it on 3 different installations (Server, Client1 and Client2)

(I am mouse only user)

You are right, I just tried myself with different skins, in full- and windowed mode. The external window does not react at all
Strange is, that it worked without issues previously. I guess only @offbyone can tell more (the source code is not open), but it's a time since he was online.
I'll see, if it works with an older version of MP2.4, but basically it can not be related to that.

same, it looks like the login dialog are frozen, no interaction after clicking "login with amazon". With MP v2.3 it was no problem.
