I read here in the forum that drivers will be new initialized only when wake up from hibernate.When wake up from standby drivers will not be new initialized. I have to Tevii S660 USB tuners and with wakeup from hibernate I never had any problems with my tuners.

Personally I think DVDFab cost too much; DVDFab needs $45 per year to license which is quite expensive and want DVDFab alternative software without re-licensing every year and at lower cost. If you I will get a DVDFab alternative to rip and convert DVD under Mac OS X(Mavericks).

Will this DVDFab alternative allow you to simply bypass Blu-Ray encryption? I think the OP was looking to simply toss in a Blu-ray disc and press play rather than having to rip it.
