Accepted media files: avi;mpg;divx;mpeg;wmv;mkv;m4v;vob;ts
Accepted non-media files: iso;img

Haha - no worries!

Shame though - nothing is obviously wrong there that I can see. The import of ISO, IMG and DVD copies is relatively simple compared to avi files, since no file analysis is needed. So normally there's less to go wrong!

I'll try and add some better debug / error handling to the import process - maybe that will show where the problem is. I've tested using (fake) ISO files and a few DVD copies in a folder structure matching yours - no errors and it imports them fine.

Monitor this thread and I'll get back to you as soon as I have something for testing.

Using 0.8beta.
Is it supposed to allow me to import img files and dvd folders? I have iso;img in accepted non-media files as well as check for dvd copies in folders. It finds all my avi's fine, but doesnt give my the IMDB popup to allow me to search for and add the iso's/dvd folders.

Can you please try the attached updated version. I've added a new layer of error handling which may give us some useful information on what's going wrong with your imports.

Ah - well that certainly helps! Sounds like you haven't got the latest version of grabber.dll. Probably my fault - please unzip and drop the attached file in the AMC Updater program folder.

Fixed! Thanks Orion. I'm sure all I did was installed 0.7.3 from sourceforge then laid 0.8 beta over the top. No idea how I managed to retain an old grabber dll.

No problem! I think the grabber.dll was indeed my fault - it has changed recently to improve handling of image downloads (previously they weren't really optional). I don't think I included it in any of my previous beta version posts.

Glad it's sorted - and the extra error-handling is a definite improvement to boot!

Hi All,

I'm aiming to get a full release of version 0.8 out soon. Attached is the latest dev copy if anyone wants to have a play. Let me know if you find any bugs or any weirdness of any kind!

Can anyone recommend a decent tool for creating help files? At the moment I've just got the documentation in Word but it would be nice to make a proper help file with context F1 help etc.
