Hi guys,
After a long while, I updated my HTPC's AMD/ATI drivers.
And I noticed that TV stopped working after that.
I checked TV-Server configuration and noticed that the software encoder that comes by installing "AMD Media Codec Pack" no longer shows as installed (which is set to top 1 encoder) under General --> Software Encoders.
"AMD Media Codec Pack", I installed is 12.1.
When I try to reinstall 11.7, it shows that a newer version is installed (which is true).
Could it be that AMD changed some naming standard of the encoder so that TV-Server can't identify it but AMD's installer does???
For reference these are the files I've installed for updating my drivers and software encoder:
