Just to keep you updated:

Yesterday I had the same problem in MP.
Unfortunately my initial stutter problem was there, too.

So I bought another DVB-T carc which isn't working. I'll bring it back to the store later this day.
Now I've reinstalled MP on a pata hdd instead of a sata drive wich causing problems on other users machines.

Now I'm experimenting with the Twinhan drivers.
Have you got any other suggestions ?
If I manage to solve my stutter problem I'll take a look at the "CnQ-stutter-problem" again.

Regards,
John

Im not sure i understand, you are getting stuttering even with CnQ disabled? Whats the "initial stutter problem"?

Just to check, when you used Twinhan DTV and no CnQ everything was okay, right? If Twinhan DTV doesnt stutter and MP does, try downloading the trial version of MyTheatre (www.dvbcore.com) and see whether or not you get stuttering there.

Furthermore, install the latest SVN build, alot of bugs are being corrected daily.

    I'll explain a little more:

I've got a problem with stutter which appears from every 10 seconds to once in a minute.
I tested every Twinhan driver I could get and used MP0.2RC3 with the latest SVN build available.

Enabling CnQ added more stutter to my picture. Disabling it didn't solve my initial problem.
Now I think I've found out what has to be problem.

When I am using Twinhan DTV (without CnQ) everything is great.
Using MP gives me a stuttering picture.

So for me it is not possible to view tv inside MP without stutter.

Any hints on this problem are highly appreciated .

    Regards
    John

Does this stuttering affect both recordings and live tv(in order to test recordings, play them on another computer)?

If it doesnt affect the recorded files it is most likely a codec problem, and unrelated to the tuner card. If it does affect the recorded files, you should try MyTheatre and see if the recordings there have the same problem.

Just to confuse everybody a little more....

After reinstalling MP dozens of times, testing 5 different dvb-t cards (PCI and USB) with all available drivers, I was able to get rif of my problems with stuttering video.
In my mainboard there were two 512 mb memory modules which I replaced by one 1 gb module.
My initial stutter problem was solved immediately.

Now I can even activate CnQ and don't get a stuttering picture.
