glad to hear you back.
Now that you have put your hands again on the code, do you think it would be possible to add your old patch to the 1.3.0 branch regarding channel change speed issues (with software encoders) that you made here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/posts/800922/
Don't know what has changed since then, but that old patch worked very well (from 8-10 secs to 3-4 sec. channel change speed), and was related to mpfilewriter.

As far as I'm aware, the faster version of MPFileWriter should continue to work with MP 1.3.x. I'm not sure if we will make that modification official - will have to wait and see...

I still have issues with channels that has multiple tuning details though. If I scan the channels with the "Don't merge channels with the same name" checked everything works.
