I have the same issue, both on Windows XP MCE with SP3 and all updates installed (also dvb fix) as well as Vista Ultimate x64.

MediaPortal Version: 1.0.2
MediaPortal Skin: blue3 and StreamedMP
Windows Version: Windows XP MCE 2005 SP3 with dvb-fix and Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 and all updates
CPU Type: Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.80GHz
HDD: Western Digital 1TB SATA300 8MB
Memory: 2x2GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-E7AUM-DS2H
Video Card: Club 3D HD Radeon 3450 and Nvidia GeForce 9400
Video Card Driver: Catalyst 9.6.0.0 and latest Geforce drivers (can't check atm)
Sound Card: Built in
