Analog TV+Fm help please- Not working (4 Viewers)

Hi All

Hope someone can help or point me in the correct direction..

I have set up the latest SVN as of yesterday and the Tv server sees the card and can tune channels for the Digital side. It sees the analogue side but scans will not find anything.

The card detected is DVB-T 7162 DVBT Tuner and Analog 7162 DVBT Tuner .

I am scanning for Sydney Australia area channels..

Am i missing something or do i need to do anything to get it to work..

Any help is apreciated..

have you installed the mpeg-sw-encoder? (7162 are mainly sw-encoder cards) or just install to tv-application which come with you card

the lastet svn versions should work with 7162 cards (i tried it with a Pinnacle 7010iX analog and dvb-t)

Thank you for the reply..

I think i have the decoder in and i installed the app that came with the card as well..

The problem is it will not find any channels when scanning the analog side..

Should i check something else or do i need to add the channels manually ?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

try manually adding the channels (the scan itself does not work so good)

does the scan says tuner locked at some point?

i have installed my analog channels by getting the frequency table from my tv-provide and inputed the channels manually (to get the best quality)

have you set up the card as a hybrid? (maybe the epg-grabber has locked the tuner and caused the problem)

HI have stopped the EPG grabber and tryed again but no difference.

The card is a hybrid but im not sure if the TV server has set it as a hybrid.

Im just trying to find the correct frequency etc of one of the local channels..

you must set it as a hybrid up, see this

Anyway i have made the hybrid groups and now if i tell it to scan the Digital portion of the card i get moe channels
but some or list currupt etc.
But when i select the Analog part of the card still sees nothing in a scan...

The card im using is the Avermedia Duel hybrid A1777..

hmmm, dual hybrid ... are you sure you scan on the right tuner (you should have two analog and two dvb-t) and grouped the right one?

by the way: the scanning and the channels db seems to be a little bit broken in the last svn's - try an old one
